Another of Birmingham’s fantastic theatres is The Alexandra. At the Alex you will find a lovely Edwardian auditorium packed full with the best musicals, concerts and comedy acts. Historic attractions of Coventry and Warwickshire
Within Coventry and surrounding Warwickshire can be found some of Britain’s greatest historic attractions. One of the more interesting attractions open for visiting is the History Centre situated in the heart of Coventry. Easily accessible from the surrounding Coventry area and always worth a visit. The Midland Air Museum has on display civil and military aircrafts covering seventy years of aviation development and is an essential stop for anyone interested in planes. Firstly and personally my favorite thing to do in Stoke is the Monkey Forest. Trentham Monkey Forest is a fantastic unique experience for people young and old. Situated just outside of Stoke Monkey Forest is in a very convenient location for anyone visiting Stoke. With sixty acres of land populated with one hundred and forty Barbary macaques roaming completely free Monkey Forest is a fantastic day out for you and your kids. With adult tickets costing just £6.50 and children tickets at £4.50 Monkey Forest is a great affordable day out for you and the family. Another fantastic family day out can be found at the Wedgwood Visitor Centre located in the heart of Stoke. Josiah Wedgwood known as the Father of English Potters founded his company in 1759 and the Wedgwood Visitor Centre allows you to be drawn into the history of Britain’s finest ceramic company. The award winning centre features a fantastic museum gallery, a very interesting fine art collection and superb craft skill demonstrations. Also if you need a bite to eat there are restaurants at hand and also great shopping facilities. Most likely if you are visiting Stoke then you will need some form of accommodation.
